Antonia Niedermaier (Canyon//SRAM) took the lead of the Best Young Rider classification in the 5th stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.
“It’s an honor to wear this white jersey, although it was not the target for the day, and we will try to keep it. The stage was super hard, and we knew it. It wasn’t the plan for me to be in the breakaway, but it turned out pretty well for Kasia [Niewiadoma-Phinney] and myself. We knew that Demi would attack on the last climb, and it was great that Kasia could follow her. She is super strong and super confident, and she can really finish it off.”
