Loes Adegeest (Lidl-Trek) was awarded the Combativity prize in the 8th stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.
“This Combativity award is a nice reward for trying. Of course it would be nicer if the break made it to the finish. I knew it would be hard with just two riders but when we had a 6-minute gap I started to believe that we could make it, but the headwind made it very hard. It was super nice to hear people shout my name so many times. We even got time gaps from the people cheering for us!! We will try again tomorrow - just maybe not me!”
