Marlen Reusser (Movistar Team) remains in the overall lead of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift after Stage 5.
“I expected the stage to be quite hard, but it panned out well. I wasn’t feeling bad at all, and it’s been a pleasure to ride surrounded by those many fans. I have received so much support today. I’m really happy. It’s been really cool to experience a day dressed in yellow. This stage didn’t suit me too well on paper, so I’m happy with how it went. I’m not so happy with my final sprint, though! My shape is not too bad, and we’ll see what’s coming now.”
“Today’s climbs are quite different to Mont Ventoux, so we don’t know if the same riders will be in the mix there. We seem to be in good shape, though. I’m ready to fight with everything I have in my legs.”
