Kim Le Court-Pienaar (AG Insurance-Soudal) won the 6th stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.
“The race has been crazy. I had a mechanical on the descent of the second-to-last climb, and I had to change bikes. Yet my team was amazing, and they worked to bring me back to the bunch by the end of the last climb. I stayed patient, trying to recover from the effort, and then I jumped along with Riejanne [Markus] to bridge back with the breakaway. They were not really cooperating at the front. I got a gap in the final kilometres, but Elisa [Longo Borghini] closed it down. I was sure Riejanne was going to try her luck, because that’s the only way she can win a race like this. I had to close the gap myself, and I was at my very limit. I can’t believe I still had the energy to win the sprint. I was really close to giving up… but I would never give up after such a big team effort.”
“The team needed this win. I have been really struggling since the TT day, and I think this really makes our Tour. Of course we had GC ambitions, but winning a stage in the Tour de France is very special. People don’t really remember who finished in the top5, but they do remember who won a stage.”

This has shown that, when a team really sticks together, it achieves good things. I owe this victory to my teammates. I’ve fought to the line for them.”
