The day’s difficulties will begin when the riders enter the Ardèche at Saint-André-en-Vivarais. The Col de Lalouvesc (1,092m, 8.6km at 5%) will trigger a sort-out and perhaps result in a nice breakawaygoing clear on the narrow roads towards Saint- Félicien. At Boucieu-le-Roi, the riders will skirt the Old village and climb a 3.8km hill averaging 5.7%. The descent to Tournon-sur-Rhône will lead into a shaded finish on Quai Farconnet.
