Océane Mahé: “I’ve never given so many interviews”

Océane Mahé (Ma Petite Entreprise) is still in the lead of the Mountains classification after the second stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.

“It was absolutely mad. My legs weren’t responding today quite as well as they did yesterday, but the crowd was even more incredible. I got loads of support from the roadside – it was brilliant. I hadn’t necessarily recovered from yesterday, so it was tricky to score points, but I’m happy to keep the jersey. The battle continues.”

“We know that there are good days and bad days on the Tour. Tomorrow, we’ve got a great programme right from the start of the stage, with 10 points up for grabs [at the Col de la Faucille (Cat 1, km 23.9)]. We’ll fight, as usual, and do our best. I’ll be able to count on my team-mates to try and keep the jersey.”

“The Tour is incredible. I’ve never given so many interviews, never received so many messages on my social media. You really realise what a big event this is. People I haven’t heard from in years have texted me because they’ve seen me on TV. It’s also when you realise that this is the race that will help the team grow. Lots of partners have come on board, and I hope that many more will be inspired to do so whilst watching this race.”
