Sprinters take note: this stage is a bit hilly but quite rolling. It will allow viewers to appreciate the châteaux of Pompadour and Hautefort, and SaintRobert, one of France’s most beautiful villages, as well as the stunning Vézère valley. If it’s a bunch finish, the fastest riders will have a 650m straight on which to show their paces, just a stone’s throw from the famous prehistoric site.
