The history

26 years after launching a men's team, the online credit solutions provider Cofidis launched its women's team in 2022. The French outfit is based in the Nord department and attracted familiar names from the get-go, including the Australian Rachel Neylan (a silver medallist in the 2012 Worlds) and the German Clara Koppenburg (fourth in the 2021 Vuelta a Burgos). Martina Alzini claimed its first win—the only one of its inaugural season—in the Bretagne Ladies Tour.

In 2023, Victoire Berteau netted the squad its first major win, the French championship held in Cassel, in her home region of Hauts-de-France. The Picard also scored the team's first two top 10 finishes in WorldTour races in 2024, with fifth place in the Miron Ronde van Drenthe and eighth in Paris–Roubaix Femmes avec Zwift. The 2016 world champion, Amalie Dideriksen, has also put her stamina and raw speed at the service of the French team since 2025, while Julie Bego (Junior world champion in 2023 and fifth in the 2024 Tour de l'Avenir) and Ema Comte (fifth in the Tour Féminin des Pyrénées) have a bright future ahead of them in the mountains.

A FIGURE

11. Nikola Nosková, four seconds shy of Juliette Berthet after the final climb of the 2026 UAE Tour, came tantalisingly close to netting Cofidis its first top 10 in a UCI Women's WorldTour stage race. The Czech rider matched Victoire Berteau's 11th-place finish in the 2023 RideLondon Classique.
