Following the lead of the Tour de France, which has shown its commitment for over a decade, the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift also strives for a more and more environmentally friendly organisation.
The Tour de France, one of the founding members of the Charter of 15 environmentally responsible commitments for major international sports events (under the aegis of the French Ministry of Sports and WWF France), signed a second, more ambitious version of the Charter in December 2022. The Charter is a sporting adaptation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations and provides a roadmap for the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift to achieve a series of social and environmental goals.
