As a major touring event, the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift has implemented an ambitious sustainable mobility plan, aiming for a gradual reduction in the number of vehicles and the use of alternative modes of transportation.

Organisation

  • 100 % of light vehicles are hybrid
  • 100% of the organisation’s XPO Logistics trucks will work with biofuel
  • Organization of training courses on environmentally responsible driving for drivers in the race convoy, as well as awareness-raising sessions for other drivers (caravan, media).

Food Donations

Sodexo and Stop Hunger commit to fighting food waste
Sodexo France and its global philanthropic network Stop Hunger, working towards a world without hunger, are launching an initiative to combat food waste. Every day, a vehicle will transport unused food from the various Tour venues to the nearest food banks and charitable organizations.
