Leaving the Mâconnais region (Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, etc.), the riders will face 2,850m of vertical gain over a demanding test in the Beaujolais. The ascent of two flanks of the Col de Gerbet will precede climbs associated with renowned wines, from Saint-Amour to Villié-Morgon. The final stretch, approached via Chiroubles and featuring a climb in two distinct parts (1.3km at 7.1% and then 1.2km at 9.7%), will lead towards Mont Brouilly (3km at 7.7%), located 10km from the finish, where the final selection will be made.
