Lorena Wiebes (Team SD Worx-Protime) is still in the lead of the Points classification after the 8th stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.
“We expected FDJ United-Suez to do something for Demi [Vollering], because the GC was very tight and she would for sure want to have a go. This is why we didn’t chase the breakaway too hard throughout the day. As for the final, we had Lotte [Kopecky] close by, and that’s pretty good. It would be super nice to bring the green jersey home, but there is still a very hard stage tomorrow and I need to finish it. It’s not an easy day to enjoy tomorrow, but I hope to enjoy what we have achieved tomorrow evening.”
