4 : MAËVA "BACK-TO-BACK" SQUIBAN !

After Annemiek van Vleuten, Charlotte Kool, and Lorena Wiebes, Maëva Squiban becomes the 4th rider to win two stages in a row (known as a "back-to-back" win) in the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. France becomes the 2nd country to achieve this after the Netherlands, which has done so 6 times.

2: SQUIBAN AT THE GRANIER, 36 YEARS AFTER LONGO

Maëva Squiban is the first French rider to win two consecutive Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift stages. But considering the Tour de France Féminin in the 1980s, she is the second French to achieve this after Jeannie Longo. She notably set a record by winning 5 consecutive stages in 1989, from stage 5 to 9. The very last victory of her career, during this 9th stage, was won in Aix-les-Bains after making the difference in... the Col du Granier, where Squiban escaped for the win today!

4: LIFE IN YELLOW

Kim Le Court Pienaar earned her 4th Yellow Jersey of the week, retaining it thanks to an excellent final descent. She tied Katarzyna Niewiadoma and Demi Vollering for 3rd place among the riders with the most Yellow Jerseys. Ahead of her are Lotte Kopecky (6), whom she can catch by staying in the lead until the end, and Marianne Vos (8).

35": THE CLOSEST TOUR EVER

The top-5 riders of the general classification are separated by 35 seconds. This is the closest top-5 in the history of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift after seven stages. Previous records at the same moment of the race: the top-5 in 5'59" in 2022, then 2'39" in 2023 and 1'09" last year.

4x10: HOME SWEET HOME FOR FRANCE

With Pauline Ferrand-Prévot (4th), Cédrine Kerbaol (7th), Évita Muzic (9th) and Juliette Labous (10th), four French riders are in the top-10 of the general classification. More than the Dutch (Demi Vollering 4th, Anna Van der Breggen 5th, Pauliena Rooijakkers 6th). This is the first time that the Netherlands is not the most represented country in the top-10!

3: AN AMERICAN ON THE PODIUM

Third today, Ruth Edwards secured the second stage podium for the United States after Chloe Dygert, 2nd in the Rotterdam time trial last year. This is therefore the first podium for an American in a road stage.

23: THE FRANCE OF THE FUTURE!

The Maëva Squiban - Cédrine Kerbaol duo has an average age of 23 years and 289 days, making them the second youngest pair to finish in the first two places of a Tour stage! The youngest 1-2: Charlotte Kool and Aniina Ahtosalo in The Hague last year (23 years and 48 days).

4: A NEW RIDER WITH THE WHITE JERSEY

Frenchwoman Julie Bego loses her white jersey to Nienke Vinke, who now leads her by 21 seconds. She becomes the 9th rider to lead the best young rider classification, the 4th Dutch rider after Maike van der Duin (stages 1-2 in 2022), Shirin van Anrooij (stages 7-8 in 2022), and Puck Pieterse (stages 4 to 8 in 2024).
