2022 Edition
The history
Twenty-six years after launching a men's team, Cofidis launched its women's team in 2022. The French team is based in the north of France and has attracted some familiar names to the peloton in its inaugural season, such as Australian Rachel Neylan (2012 world vice-champion) and German Clara Koppenburg (4th in the 2021 Tour of Burgos). The results have not been long in coming. The team has already achieved four top 20 finishes in the World Tour, including Victoire Berteau's 17th place in the 2nd edition of Paris-Roubaix Femmes, seven podiums and a victory by Italian Martina Alzini on stage four of the Bretagne Ladies Tour Ceratizit.

IN NUMBERS
2. Clara Koppenburg's place in the Mont Ventoux Dénivelé Challenges, behind Marta Cavalli. The 26-year-old German rider is aiming for a solid result in the general classification in the Tour.
5. There are fewer French women (five) than foreign women (six) in the squad. Cofidis is the only one of the five French teams in the professional peloton to have fewer French than non-French riders.
18. Olivia Onesti's age. A versatile talent, the Limousin-based rider was a French champion in mountain biking, road and cyclo-cross in the youth category. She has enjoyed her best success in mountain biking (runner-up in the world juniors last year). But her climbing ability offers her a great future on the road.
