The history

In 2022, for its fourth year in the peloton, the Dutch team acquired a new main sponsor, AG Insurance, a Belgian insurance company, and signed a partnership with Patrick Lefevere's men's team, then racing as Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl. It achieved its goal of joining the WorldTour in 2024.

The DNA of this structure founded and managed by Natascha den Ouden is to develop young riders. It started as a structure dedicated to juniors, a team that still exists. The Dutch sprinter Charlotte Kool (dsm–firmenich PostNL) was among the riders who did their training there before turning pro. Its roster is still a bit wet behind the ears, but it gained a battle-hardened veteran in the shape of Ashleigh Moolman Pasio in 2023. The 38-year-old South African is the undisputed leader of the squad and a legitimate contender for a Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift podium spot.

1. The Kiwi Ally Wollaston secured the team its maiden WorldTour win when she took the opening stage of the Santos Tour Down Under back in January. The Australian Sarah Gigante extended this victorious streak with triumphs in stage 3 and GC in the same race.

6. Ashleigh Moolman Pasio's overall place in the second Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, held last season. The South African, fourth on the Tourmalet, ranks among the strongest climbers in the world.

9. More than half of the team roster (9 riders out of 16) are under 24. Only dsm–firmenich PostNL (11 out of 18) has a younger squad among the WorldTour outfits.
