At 41 years, 6 months, and 25 days, Mavi Garcia is the oldest ever winner of a Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift stage. This record previously belonged to Annemiek Van Vleuten, who was 39 years, 9 months, and 23 days old when she won at La Super Planche des Belles Filles in 2022 (stage 8). Marianne Vos (38 years old) yesterday, Mavi Garcia (41 years old) today: it contrasts with the age of last year's oldest winner, Justine Ghekiere, at 28.

421: WAITING FOR MORE THAN A YEAR

Winning for the 17th time in her career, Mavi Garcia raises her arms for the first time in the race. Her last victory was during stage 2 of the Tour of Andalusia 2024, 421 days ago. She had since achieved six podium finishes. Her best Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift result was a 7th-place scored in Épernay in 2022 (stage 3).

8: SPAIN'S FIRST TRIUMPH

Mavi Garcia gives Spain its first Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift victory, making it the 8th country to win after the Netherlands (15), Belgium (2), Denmark (2), Germany (2), Switzerland (2), France (1), and Hungary (1). The best result for a Spanish woman was a 7th-place finish, achieved on multiple occasions. The last time was in stage 7 of the Tour 2023, with Ane Santesteban.

25: JAYCO, FINALLY!

The Liv-AlUla-Jayco team secures its first-ever victory in the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. A long wait of 25 stages, since the team has been competing since the first edition in 2022.

1: HISTORY MAKER

Second yesterday, third today, Kim Le Court Pienaar takes the lead of the general classification. She's the first Yellow Jersey from Mauritius, but also the first non-European Yellow Jersey in history. And, more generally, the first non-European rider to lead a classification!

4-8: A NEW COUNTRY IN YELLOW

Thanks to Kim Le Court Pienaar, Mauritius becomes the 4th country to lead the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. The previous three were the Netherlands (15 Yellow Jerseys), Belgium (6), and Poland (4). The new leader is also the 8th different rider to dominate the general classification.

6: THIRD PLACE? DEFINITELY NOT!

Second today, Lorena Wiebes takes her 6th Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift stage podium: three wins and three 2nd-place finishes. The Dutch rider has never been third, neither here nor in a Grand Tour! Adding her Giro d'Italia Donne statistics, she has a total of 12 podium finishes: eight wins and four 2nd-place finishes.
