Launched in 2011 by Mario Cipollini, under the name of his bicycle brand (Mcipollini) and textile manufacturer Giordana, the Italian team merged with Slovenian team BTC City Ljubljana in 2019 before being acquired by the UAE Emirates men's World Tour team in 2022.
It has been among the top ten teams in the world since its debut and has high hopes for the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. Italian Marta Bastianelli, the 2018 European champion, can chase after the stage wins, while Mavi Garcia, third in the 2022 Giro, has her eye on the General Classification.
