Since 2013, local authorities have been able to host a weekend-long celebration of cycling.
As part of "May on a Bike", local communities have committed to organizing numerous events to celebrate cycling in all its forms. The program includes rides, cyclosportives, as well as awareness and repair workshops.
- This year, 11 stage towns took part in the Fête du Tour. With activities and bike training tracks for beginners and cycle touring for the more experienced, May was a taste of what July has to offer.
- Cities on the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift that took part in the Fête du Tour: Vannes, Guéret, Praz-sur-Arly, Châtel, Plumelec, Clermont-Ferrand, Poitiers, Brest, Quimper, Saumur, and Ambert.
