The hills of the Pays de Bray and the Eawy Forest should provide the spark for an early breakaway. After that, the riders might well enjoy passing through Lyons-la-Forêt, which has been classified as one of France’s most beautiful villages, before tackling six successive climbs over the final 50 kilometres. They’re short, sometimes very steep and are quite winding roads. This terrain’s ideal for aggressive racing prior to a finish that’s set at the top of a kilometre-long hill with a 5% gradient.
