Rosheim offers a journey through time. The “rose town” has exceptional architectural, civil and religious heritage. It is even regularly referred to as a “Romanesque city” because the buildings from this period are so numerous and perfectly preserved and include the Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul (12th century), the Maison Païenne (1154), one of the oldest in Alsace, and its four monumental gates. Visitors should also explore one of the surrounding vineyards, its symbolic and magnificent rose garden, or come at the time of its authentic and renowned Christmas market.
