1 : THE RAINBOW FINALLY FINDS THE PATH TO SUCCESS
By covering the 21-kilometre individual time trial between Gevrey-Chambertin and Dijon at an average speed of 45.818 km/h this Tuesday, Marlen Reusser became the first reigning world champion to win a stage of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. Whether in time trials or road stages, it took thirty-seven stages to see the rainbow jersey on the top step of the podium. Until now, the best result by a world champion had been Elisa Balsamo’s second-place finish in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges in 2022.
3 : A SWISS HAT-TRICK
By winning in Dijon, Marlen Reusser claimed the third stage victory of her career in the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. The Swiss rider, who also secured a fifth win in the race for her Movistar team, had previously triumphed in Bar-sur-Aube in 2022 and in Pau in 2023. She is also the only Swiss rider to have claimed a victory on French roads.
3 : AN EXCEPTIONAL EFFICIENCY
With her victory this Tuesday, Marlen Reusser has now won at least one stage across three editions (2022, 2023 and 2026) of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. The Swiss rider has claimed a stage win in every edition she has entered, with the exception of 2025, when she was forced to withdraw before the finish of the opening stage. Only Lorena Wiebes has a better record. The Dutch sprinter has triumphed in four of the five editions (winning twice in 2022, 2025 and 2026, and once in 2024). A victory this year would allow Demi Vollering and Marianne Vos to match Reusser, as both riders have previously won in two editions each (Vollering in 2023 and 2024 ; Vos in 2022 and 2025).
2/3 : MASTER OF TIME
Of the three time trials held since the revival of the Tour de France Femmes in 2022, Marlen Reusser has won two, in Pau in 2023 and in Dijon this year. These are the only time trials she has contested. The remaining one, held on the streets of Rotterdam in 2024, was won by Demi Vollering. With this latest victory, the Swiss rider now has forty professional wins to her name, twenty of which have come in time trials. She opened her account in June 2017 by claiming the first national title of her career in the discipline.
4 : A HANDFUL OF SECONDS
With a gap of just four seconds between winner Marlen Reusser and runner-up Lieke Nooijen, this Dijon time trial stands as the closest in the history of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. The previous record was held by Demi Vollering and Chloe Dygert, separated by… five seconds during the Rotterdam time trial in 2024. However, that stage covered only 6.3 kilometREs, compared to 21 kilometres this Tuesday. In the event's first time trial, held in Pau in 2023, Marlen Reusser beat Demi Vollering by 10 seconds over a 22.6-kilometre race.
2’13’’ : SHE FACES AN UPHILL BATTLE
After losing 2 minutes and 13 seconds to Marlen Reusser in Tuesday’s time trial, defending Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot faces five demanding stages to claim the Yellow Jersey. No previous winner of the event since 2022 has ever trailed by such a margin in the general classification before ultimately taking the victory. Annemiek van Vleuten faced a maximum deficit of 1 minute 28 seconds against Marianne Vos. In 2023, Demi Vollering trailed Lotte Kopecky by 1 minute 7 seconds before winning at the Col du Tourmalet. The following year, Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney never trailed Vollering by more than 34 seconds. And last year, Ferrand-Prévot had a gap of just 26 seconds to close on Kim Le Court-Pienaar on the slopes of the Col de la Madeleine.
1 : SWITZERLAND CONQUERS THE YELLOW JERSEY
By claiming the Yellow Jersey of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift for the first time in her career, Marlen Reusser also secures the jersey for Switzerland for the first time. Before the Alpine country, only six nations had achieved this feat: the Netherlands (nineteen times), Belgium (six times), Mauritius and Poland (four times), France (twice), and Norway (once, this Tuesday thanks to Sigrid Haugset). Reusser also finds herself leading a Grand Tour for the second time, having previously held the lead in the 2025 Giro for four stages.
12 : GREEN SUITS HER WELL
Leader of the points classification with a 56-point advantage over her nearest rival, Lorena Wiebes secured the twelfth green jersey of her career at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift this Tuesday. The Dutch rider thus equals the record held by her compatriot Marianne Vos. Since stage 3 of the 2025 Tour, Wiebes has been the only rider to hold the top spot in this classification.
13 : THE SAGA CONTINUES
Finishing third in Tuesday’s time trial, Dutch rider Demi Vollering reached the podium of a Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift stage for the thirteenth time in her career, matching her compatriot Marianne Vos. The two rivals are trading blows : after Vollering’s opening third-place finish in Lausanne, the former world champion managed to draw level (finishing third in Geneva) and then pull ahead of Vollering by taking third place again on Monday in Poligny. The duel could well last all the way to Nice.
